“… SLEEPWALKING, IN A STATE WHERE REALITY AND DREAMS BECOME BLURRED.” – Sarah Burton

Lee came home once again, with his ‘Row tailoring at hand. The McQueen experts’ fingers, working hundreds of hours to create what you see, are arguably the best in the world. Mrs. Burton executed this collection with such depth and understanding of the true surrealistic otherworldly tender yet haunting visions that this House was built on.

So it was a pleasure to see brilliantly worked hand-painted leather into pocket watches, butterflies and of course, eyes. Dali too, would have been proud. And when we’re talking dreams we’re talking bedroom; lace, knits overflowing ever so gently off the models’ shoulders made place for the extravaganza of the bodices of the dresses created in black tulle with bejewelled van Goghian nights’ usual suspects.

Stellar, in all senses of the word.
