Like her colleague Phoebe Philo at Céline,  Claire Wright Keller’s offering this upcoming fall season felt more, well, less edgy girly, and more assured woman. The designer perceived her collection as “framed” with the idea of “that transition from when you’re young to being a woman.” Personally, we couldn’t agree (or appreciate it) more. Indeed, we loved the bare legs, double-faced/pressed wools (trending!) and tweeds (taken from the Pre-Fall collection which we love). The elegant femininity (we love that word, so sue us) was balanced by a tough vibe, with the harnessed (à la Prabal) pinafores and capes in a shade of blue. Stripes are here to stay from spring to fall and there’s no exception here with large bold iterations on v-necks. And, obvi, sport(ish) is in, so wearing a polka dot tulle T-shirt with a skirt is really pretty cool, if you ask us. We loved the bold blue and red and minimal crisp lines. Did we mention the shoes? TDF!
