For Pre-Fall, Olivier Rousteing presented a collection that was filled with details, almost giving it that extravagance that is usually reserved to Couture (the fabrics might have to do with it: velvet, jacquard, chiffon…!). The designer went all around the world, mixing cultures into the collection. Indeed, while the belted jackets had a Japanese twist to them, the pants, loose and sarouel-style, had an arabic-vibe. All in all it made sense, quite beautifully. The double-breasted jackets, tailored in a masculine cut, could’ve been borrowed from your man’s closet (ha!).¬†Oh and notice the ‘above the neck action‘? The sleek hair and long, gold pendants earrings? Make a statement!
