Sarah Burton is known to redefine what normal is, and that’s why we like her work. This collection was no exception. With the savile row tailoring, the flowers, the use of jacquard and silky fabrics, the designer did just that, adding her own twist. The degradé Prince of Wales suit is an example of that. And we love it! We also love the ‘Tintin’ look; seen at Prada in 2011, we’re happy to see that the short-pant worn with high socks is here to stay… and that we can rock the look a bit longer! While some were shocked at seeing fashionable colleagues arrive at work with cropped ‘my-younger-brother’s-suit’ à la Thome Browne, wait ’till they see them walk in with knee high pants suits! Kick arse!
