Christian Dior – Peplum tops remain for spring 2013 and we’re happy to see.  The collection was feminine, simple, floral and flattering in so many ways.  You can’t help but see beauty in Dior.

Carven – Guillaume Henry for Carven went a little bohemian on us for this collection though we can’t complain.  We love the color blocking that was used as well as the relaxed flair of each look.  Photographed with flowers and oranges proved that purses aren’t always a necessity but simply wearing ‘Carven’ is all a girl needs.

Chloé – Chloé’s Clare Waight Keller was aiming for a more ‘romantic’ feel to her collection and we feel she attainted it.  You can’t help but image a Sunday afternoon spent with the person you love in pure bliss.  Oversized tops and skirts continue to remain a staple of Chloé yet someone adding a belt helps retain the shape every woman wants to show.  Also note the choice in hair style… simply ‘a la naturel!’

Prabal Gurung – a recent trip to Napal is what has been inspiring Prabal Gurung and we must confess that he is beginning to become one of our most favorite designers.  He just seems to get it to another level that we don’t always see in other collections and in reality mainstream is not all yet comfortable with.  This collection captured it all and we feel summed up the end of resort 2013 quite well.  Color, floral, techno, 80s, feminine and natural.
