Refer to our Part 1 to catch up.

We continue with some of our favorites.

Giambattista Valli – Consist with some of the other designers that we saw (… Givenchy, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, etc.) Valli presented a collection that showed us how to mix patterns.  Animalistic and jungle like flare with a mix of elegance and simplicity.

Balenciaga – the soft hues mixed with a touch of severe through leather pieces brought nonetheless a calming effect to the collection. Nicolas Ghesquière inspired himself by turning to the ballet costumes designed by his house’s founder in the ‘30s.  We quite enjoyed the pleated pants as well as the drape like affect.  Our personal favorites, the head accessories (always a weakness of ours).

Zac Posen – His most recent trip to Singapore is what inspired Zac Posen’s collection.  Opulence at no end. What stopped us on this collection were the accessories.  Oversized earnings, neck pieces and hair accessories.  All were beautiful.
